"Nansen" passport issued by the International Office for Refugees to a stateless Jewish refugee, 1939
Designed in 1922 by Frijtof Nansen, the League of Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, these passports were issued to refugees who had lost their citizenship. Issued on 24 November 1939.
