The Israel State Archives is adding a new feature to its website, to help introduce the public to its fascinating collections. Every few days we will publish an interesting document from our collection or our publications, together with a short explanation.
The first documents to be "Caught in the Net" are from the first part of the commemorative volume on Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, published in 2005. The volume, which is in Hebrew, covers Rabin's early life and career in the IDF and includes letters, Army documents, photographs and a selection of his speeches in meetings of the General Staff and the government.
Later we will present documents, pictures and photographs, representing the wide variety of material to be found in the Israel State Archives.
