In order to make it easier to identify archival material, the Israel State Archives has decided to provide storage codes in English.

The storage code identifies the type of material or its origin. It should be added before the box number when ordering or quoting documents.

The correct form of reference for material from the Archives is as follows: ISA/record group no./storage code /box no. /file no.
